HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
. - In the right-side pane, identify any entries that specify the
H: Drive
. - For each identified entry, alter the value data to point to the desired location on the
C:\ drive
. Ensure the specified folder path exists. - Carry out these adjustments for another Registry key located at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
. - Finally, review your system variables by accessing System Properties. Follow this path: Start > Advanced System Properties > Environment Variables. Confirm that the
H: Drive
is not listed in any of the variable values.
